Material Selection of Machine Design using Expert System: A Comparative Study

This research venture one of the major concerns in field expert system. Material selection an important key issue machine design. Objectives computerized procedure are reduced to personal bias and gives more accurate optimized result. The concept entropy; evaluate weight factor for each alternative material property or performance index, other is TOPSIS SAW; rank candidate materials, which several requirements considered simultaneously. Sensitivity analysis introduced here better selection.
